WHAT'S NEW FOR 2014/15: Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, in partnership with Monster Energy, has completed a major renovation and expansion of its terrain parks. The ski area is retiring its half pipe and in its place adding Big Air ramps and landings to Elf Shelf. In addition, they are adding a beginnerıs terrain park called ³Low Rider.² Like many other ski areas, Shanty Creek has made improvements to its snowmaking equipment by adding ten new snow guns. For the cross-country skier, Shanty Creek is doubling the lighting on Moonlite Run. For additional diverse winter activity, they have expanded the tubing park and snowmobile rentals are returning this winter. Efforts have been made to simplify the process for registering and pre-booking ski lessons as well as allowing skiers and snowboarders the option of purchasing discounted lift tickets online in advance. Snowboarding: New this year! Shanty Creek is offering 4 terrain parks, spread over two separate ski areas to offer a variety of options for every level of terrain park riders.
Instructional Programs: Shanty Creek offers many different options for those wanting to learn how to ski, snowboard and race. For those who just want to brush up on their skills, try a race clinic or sign up for one of our private lessons.

Racing Programs: RACING - All racing programs available every day. Minimun 3 participants. RACE CLINIC: 11am. Two hours of race training, includes 3 NASTAR runs. NASTAR: Daily Monday - Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at noon. KIDS CAMP: For ages 6-12. 1:30 to 4pm. Includes gate training & 3 NASTAR runs.
Ski & Snowboard Rental: Shanty Creek offers a complete line of downhill skis, snowboards, and cross-country skis for rent. Helmets are also available for rent.

Cross Country Skiing: Discover the Tranquil Majesty of Michigan Cross Country Skiing at Shanty Creek. Our Michigan ski area features gorgeous nordic trails winding through forests of snow-laden hardwoods and pines straight from a storybook. Our 21km of trails are ideal for nordic enthusiasts with stretching and bending terrain, ideal for short strides and long glides.
Tubing: Shanty Creek's tubing park will be located at Cedar River Village adjacent to the Purple chair slopes of Schuss Mountain. This straightaway three lane tubing park is sure to get your blood pumping when you reach speeds in excess of 15 mph!
Additional Winter Activities: Snowshoeing, Winter Swimming - a bevy of apres ski activities from horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snow laden forests to a luxurious dip in our heated outdoor pools. Our Wellness Spa is a vacation in itself with a full nautilus program, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, tanning and free weights. The possibilites are endless......
