WHAT'S NEW FOR 2014/15: Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville is adding snow bikes this winter for northern Michiganšs only dedicated snow bike trail system. The resort has added to their snowmaking capacity this year with new water pipes and more snow guns. More than half of the Wintergreen condominiums units have been upgraded with new kitchens (many with new bathrooms as well) and are ready for this ski season. Snowboarding: Snowboarders are welcome on all 45 slopes. In addition, Crystal will once again construct a halfpipe, after a four-year hiatus. The pipe will be 300 feet long. Crystal expanded one of its terrain parks into a "Super Park" - all this plus a great line-up of events all winter long.

Instructional Programs: The key to getting the most from skiing and snowboarding is expert instruction and Crystal Mountain has some of the best instructors in the business. With award winning programs, kid-friendly classes and equipment specifically geared to improve your learning, Crystal is the place not only to learn but excel and advance to the next level. Crystal offers a variety of lessons for all ages and ability levels with all lessons enjoying lift line privileges.
