WHAT'S NEW FOR 2014/15: Happy 75th Birthday to Caberfae Peaks in Cadillac! To celebrate, starting in January, a family of 3 can enjoy skiing from 3 pm to close any Sunday for only $49. This program will include lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons. Additional family members can be added at the cost of $15 each. In addition, the folks at Caberfae have been busy keeping their 75-year-old runs looking young and fresh by contouring the slopes and increasing snowmaking. Thirty-two additional energy-efficient snowmaking fan guns, (22 permanently mounted, 10 mobile) along with the expansion of the snowmaking reservoir, several snowmaking pipe installations and various electrical upgrades all add up to a major increase in snow making ability, while a new Bombardier Snow Groomer will assist with keeping all that snow groomed for skiing. Plus, skiers and snowboarders will be able to purchase lift ticket and rental equipment online in advance and save. (231) 862-3000.

Instructional Programs: Beginner Group Lesson - Beginner group lessons are for the skier or boarder who needs to get comfortable with the equipment and learn the basics - how to stop, turn, use the rope tow and ride a chairlift. - Private Lessons - Available for skiers or boarders of all ages and abilities. A one on one lesson filled with personal attention and great skiing & boarding tips. - Semi-Private Lessons - Great for families and friends that wish to learn or improve their skiing or boarding skills together.
Kid's Programs: Peak Pre-school: For 3 & 4 year olds. Outdoor and indoor adventures/pre school environment. Includes supervision on and off the slopes, outdoor and indoor adventures, lunch and snack for full day, lunch with 1/2 day morning program, and snack with for 1/2 day afternoon program. Focus is on playing. No lift ticket required. Reservations required; Peak Adventure Program: For ages 5 to 10 years. Includes supervision on and off the slopes, ski lessons, lunch, hot chocolate break, outdoor and indoor adventures. Reservations recommended.

Dining Facilities: The NEW Blackmer day lodge, located at the foot of the slopes, features exposed timber construction, cathedral ceilings, and stone fireplace.
