RACING AT BOYNE HIGHLANDS The Boyne Alpine Racing Team program is geared toward those athletes who wish to take their alpine ski racing ability to the next higher level. Our focus is the Age/Class/Ability/FIS Level USSA athlete, along with middle/high school racers wishing to optimize their skiing and racing potential. The United States Skiing Association (USSA) divides the competition categories according to age. J5 through J3 classes are considered "Age Class", while J2, J1 and Masters are the "Ability Class". We encourage those athletes from age 10 through 21 to join our race team and be an active member of USSA to reach their fullest potential. BART Training Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands offer first class training venues with excellent terrain, giving team members the opportunity to perfect modern, up-to-date racing technique. Coaches are on hand nights (Wed-Fri) and weekends critiquing slalom, giant slalom and super-G race training, including individualized video analysis. BART Racing Weekend or weeknight membership inlcudes training opportunities, plus weekend coaching and representation at the CUSSA Region III age class and ability races according to the season schedule.
